This is a special Flor and a wonderful sneak peek into the marvelous (but tiny!) 2024 vintage. A highly perfumed, deep, generous, and powerfully structured version of this blend. Freakishly intense and concentrated. Lime zest and sea salt. Kumquat jam and biscuit. Nectarine and agave. While impressive on the attack, this wine builds in strength, depth and force as it expands across the palate. Crescendos with a massive collision of powerful fruit, mouthwatering acidity and long, lingering, savory phenolic structure (thanks to a splash from our young Assyrtiko plantings!). Mouthwatering dry extract that lingers for minutes. Finishes with guava and tropical notes. Begins to really pick up speed after a few hours open. Likely the mightiest Flor to date from the tiny yields, dry conditions and warm spells that made up vintage 2024 at JONATA.
